Queen Anne's County teachers, staff, parents, and children joined 8,500 other supporters of education for the March for Our Schools in Annapolis on March 11th, 2019.
The huge crowd made their way to the Statehouse and listened to politicians, MSEA members, parents and students speak about the critical importance of adequately funding schools in Maryland. A "sea of red," the official color for the event, showed just how important the participants consider this effort to be and the crowd often chanted "The Time is Now!"
