Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelors in Math, Secondary Teaching Certification, Masters of Education
Past Due Assignments
Period 3 & 4
The course intergrates algebra and trigonometry topics to prepare students for calculus and higher-level mathematics. Topics included are polynomial, rational exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, and inverse trigonometric functions and their graphs; trigonometric identities and trigonometric equations; appropriate applications of trigonometry; and analytic geometry. This course is aligned with Chesapeake College’s College Algebra, Math 115, in order to better prepare students for their future college mathematic courses.
This course extends the study of topics and skills introduced in Algebra 1. Common Core Algebra II emphasizes quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions and their applications in data investigations. Topics related to sequences and series and modeling will also be included and then expanded on in Part 2.
