Upcoming Events

  • Please be aware that registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten students will be underway soon.  Matapeake Elementary will be registering students on April 14th, 21st, and 28th from 9am-3pm.  You may call the school to reserve your appointment.  Please go to the  QACPS website or click on this link New Student Registration to process your electronic application.  This must be completed before your appointment.  Please be sure to click on "2021-2022 New Student Registration."  

    The documents needed for your appointment are:

         * Birth Certificate

         * Shot records or Health Inventory Form

         * Proof of Residence (electric, gas or water bill, property tax, ,mortgage statement, 

            rental agreement or contract of sale). 

        * Income verification (pre-k only), if applying based on income.

        * Out of Zone Form (kindergarten only), if not attending home school for place of residence. 

    In addition to the documents needed a legal guardian must be present for the registration and the child must be with them.
