Mrs. Christine Wells
Hello! My name is Mrs. Christine Wells and I love teaching. This is my 20th year in Queen Anne’s County. I grew up on the Eastern Shore in Rock Hall. I received two Bachelor Degrees from Salisbury State University in Elementary Education and Psychology. I then continued my education with a Masters in Psychology from Washington College. I am currently finishing my masters' in STEM Education and Leadership through UMBC. In my summers I have found many rewarding opportunities to work with children, including Camp Pecometh, Kent School Horizons Program, Maryland Summer Center for Environmental Studies at Horsehead Wetlands Center, and the SES Migrant School.
I love computers and technology, but not as much as I do the outdoors. Camping, swimming, kayaking, and sailing are my absolute favorites. One summer I even went to Costa Rica to hike cloud forests and explore a volcano. I’ve hiked the Pitons in St. Lucia and raced sailboats in the Atlantic Ocean at Newport, Rhode Island. This summer my family plans to enjoy the sun.
I am looking forward to this 2017-2018 school year. Don't forget to read for your Dolphin Dash Ice Cream Party! I would love to hear from you on my e-mail. Please, write me a letter, as I will be on my e-mail most of the summer doing my STEM Masters work. I know we will have many exciting adventures in learning! I can't wait to meet you.
