This is my sixth year teaching 4th grade at Church Hill Elementary School and my 16th year teaching in Queen Anne's County.  I spent the first ten years of my teaching career at Kennard Elementary School in Centreville.  I graduated from Washington College with a business degree and spent three years as a corporate accountant in Northern Virginia.  I ended my accounting career and began my teaching career because of my memories of the enjoyment I had coaching Little League baseball.  I went back to school to get my teaching degree and I received my masters degree in Elementary Education from Johns Hopkins University, then found my way back to the Eastern Shore.  I could not be happier with my choice to become a teacher!  I especially enjoy teaching science and social studies.

In my free time I enjoy reading and playing every sport and game ever invented.  My favorite times are just being outside with my two daughters, son, and wife!
