I graduated from North Caroline High School in 1998. I played golf, basketball, and softball. I attended Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina for my freshman year before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I played softball at Queens and UNC. I graduated from UNC in 2002 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. Go Heels!
In 2005 I earned my Master's degree in Education for School Counseling from Wilmington University and then decided to add a certification in the field of special education. I started working at Queen Anne's County High School in 2003. I am currently a special education teacher in the English Department, but served as the Behavior Specialist for ten years prior to changing roles.
I have one daughter who is currently a student in Queen Anne's County. I am very fortunate that my daughter is receiving her education in Queen Anne's County. This is a great community that serves children and their families.
I thoroughly enjoy working with students, parents, and staff on a daily basis.
