B.S. from Baylor University, B.A. from Salisbury University, and MAE from UMBC

Education is a second career after ignoring my calling to teach in college. The best job I have is being a mother. Once I had my children, I knew I had to follow my instincts and heart and teach other children. I truly love seeing the growth in students. Whether it is academically, behaviorally, or emotionally, to experience that type of growth is very rewarding.

I have two boys, Jacob, a student at Hood College and Connor, a student at KIHS. I also have a furbaby named Chewie. I enjoy crafting, walking, eating and cooking. I spend my free time watching my boys play their individual sports.
