I chose a career in speech language pathology because I wanted to work with children. My mom taught in Queen Anne’s County for 40 years, so the public school system feels like home to me.

In my free time, I enjoy taking walks on Wye Island with my family. My husband Jordan and I have two young sons. My favorite color is blue, my favorite food is… pizza? (it’s too hard to pick just one!), and my favorite book is “Practical Magic” by Alice Hoffman.
