I have been an elementary art teacher for 26 years! I chose to be an art teacher to share my passion for art with children, and to bring to my students what I did not have in my schooling as a child: the opportunity to learn how to create with a variety of media and learn about art, artists, and cultures from around the world.

My husband Jeff and I live with our two doodles. Our daughters, Willow and Skylar, are away at school. In my free time, I enjoy painting, traveling, and photography. My favorite colors are pink, blue, orange, and green… depending on what they are for!
