CES Earns Maryland Accreditation & EXCELS Honor

***NEWS RELEASE***
QACPS is proud to recognize CES for earning Maryland Accreditation through the MSDE.

Centreville, MD – Queen Anne’s County Public Schools is proud to recognize Centreville Elementary School for earning Maryland Accreditation through the Maryland State Department of Education.

Maryland Accreditation is a rigorous process that reflects a program’s commitment to continuous quality improvement in service of children, families, and staff. To achieve this distinction, Centreville Elementary School completed a comprehensive self-appraisal, implemented targeted program improvements, and underwent an external review to validate its adherence to high state standards.

In addition to this significant accomplishment, Centreville Elementary School has also received a Level 5 rating—the highest possible—through Maryland EXCELS, the state’s quality rating and improvement system for early childhood and school-age education programs. This top-tier rating is reserved for programs that meet nationally recognized standards of excellence and maintain Maryland Accreditation status.

Congratulations to the entire Centreville Elementary School community—students, educators, and staff—for their exceptional dedication to educational excellence and continuous improvement.
