Undergraduate degree in Studio Art with a minor in Elementary Education from McDaniel College. Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix for my . I am currently certified by the state in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education.

Hello to all CES families! This is my twelth year of teaching here at Queen Anne's County Public Schools, where I have served as the Child Development Specialist for the Family Support Center. I was a first grade teacher here at CES, and now I am currently loving life teaching prekindergarten.

I was born and raised here in Queen Anne’s County and was fortunate enough to be a product of our Queen Anne’s County school system, a graduate from Queen Anne’s County High School 2005.

My husband Josh and I have two beautiful children, Hayleigh and Mason. He and I got married in the summer of 2016, on the beautiful beaches of Playa Conchal, Costa Rica. It was the best time of our lives with our closest friends and family, especially since one of my favorite things is the beach and being outside by the water. We continue to stay very busy with our lives outside of school, with travel soccer, softball, baseball, heading to the beach or pool on summer days, and most importantly, for us, being with our friends and family.

Centreville is a wonderful community. Helping to guide and prepare our students for the future is a real challenge and one that requires the involvement of us all. See some of the fantastic pre-kindergarten websites below, which I have found to be very useful in helping to promote reading and math fluency. I look forward to working with all of my students’ parents this upcoming year. I also look forward to many more years of teaching the brilliant students here at Centreville Elementary and helping them become successful individuals.
