Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master of Education in School Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland; Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC)
I grew up in Exton, Pennsylvania and was the middle child of 5 siblings: three brothers and one younger sister. I played field hockey in college. I began my career as a foster care social worker in Philadelphia. I then taught both 2nd and 4th grades in Prince George's County, Anne Arundel County, and Queen Anne's County. I was the school counselor for a large prek-5th grade elementary school in Anne Arundel County and am so very happy to be back to counseling here at Centreville Elementary School.
I currently live in Centreville with my husband, Rhody, and my four children, Abby, Molly, Jimmy, and Beatrice. All four of my children went to and loved Centreville Elementary School! They keep me very busy with all of their activities. I love watching them play sports, dance, perform in shows, and play their instruments. As a family, we enjoy visiting our relatives in Pennsylvania, going to the beach, watching movies, and swimming in our pool. Every once in a while when I get time alone, I like to read while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea.
My life is very busy and sometimes a bit crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way!
