I love to help teachers and students find success in mathematics!
I have lived in Queen Anne’s County my entire life. I attended Centreville Elementary School, Centreville Middle School, and Queen Anne’s County High School. Following college graduation, I came to Centreville Elementary School to teach 1st grade, and I was named Queen Anne’s County’s “New Teacher of the Year” in April 2010! After teaching 1st grade for six years, I like to joke that I "graduated" to 2nd grade in 2015. I became Math Specialist in 2019.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I love reading and painting! I also enjoy playing music and working with the children at my church. In the summer, I enjoy going to Orioles games and vacationing at the beach. My favorite colors are blue and lime green, and my favorite candy is Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
I am looking forward to another great year at CES!
