Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washington College; Master’s degree in Special Education and Reading from Wilmington University
This will be my thirteenth year at Centreville Elementary School. Previously, I taught 2nd grade for nine years and this will be my fourth year teaching 1st grade. My first teaching position was at Radcliffe Creek School in Chestertown, Maryland. Fortunately, I am able to use several hands-on reading strategies I learned while working at Radcliffe when teaching in my classroom at Centreville.
My husband, Chuck, and I live in Rock Hall, Maryland with our two dogs. Luke is a dachshund and Lilly is a yellow Labrador retriever. We have two daughters, Ellie and Abby. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the pool/beach, biking, and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to an exciting, creative year!
