Bachelor of Science from Salisbury University; Master of Education and Administration from Salisbury University
This is my 30th year in education, and I am honored to serve as Principal of Centreville Elementary School! I was an elementary school teacher in Talbot County for 12 years before moving to Queen Anne's County in 2004-2005. I was the Teacher Specialist at Sudlersville Elementary for five years, before moving to Sudlersville Middle School as the Assistant Principal. I was there for four years and then became the Assistant Principal at Centreville Middle School, where I served for three years.
This is my 6th year as principal of CES! I work with great teachers, assistants, custodial engineers, specialists, secretaries, volunteers, students, and families! My focus this year is on Relationships, Rigor, Relevance, and Reflective Practices that enhance student learning each and every day.
On a personal note, I have two boys, Zack and Josh, and a husband, Mark. Zack now lives in Florida and works for Enterprise and Josh is working on his Master's Degree in Business, so I am trying to adjust to an "empty nest". I love to spend time with my family, at the beach (or anywhere with water), and I like to run and lift weights.
CES is truly a magical place and I hope that your child enjoys his/her time here. At CES, we make it happen!
