B.A. in Psychology from University of Delaware; M.Ed in Secondary School Counseling from University of Wilmington
I am a resident of Smyrna, Delaware, and really enjoy my quiet drive to work each day. I live there with my husband, Brian, and a very busy toddler, Santino. Our family enjoys traveling, going to parks, visiting family and friends, and just enjoying life. After working in urban areas for the last 15 years, I am excited to work in a more rural environment, and definitely love how the school is able to immerse itself in the community. I hope that I am equally able to immerse myself in the community, and hope to make significant contributions. Please know that my door is always open, and if you ever have any questions, I am available.
This is my 5th year in Queen Anne's County Public Schools (I was previously at MES). I look forward to working with all of the students, parents, guardians, and community members, who make CMS great.
My previous work experience includes Family Crisis Specialist (CPS social worker) with the State of Delaware; Elementary School Counselor with Community Academy Public Charter School in Washington, D.C.; Mary B. Neal & Diggs Elementary Schools in Waldorf, MD; Matapeake Elementary School in Stevensville, MD; Middle School Counselor at Browne Education Center in Washington, D.C.; and High School Counselor at Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington, DE.
