    High School Summer School at Anchor Points Academy-July 9th-August 1, 2018 (Monday –Thursday)
    The cost of summer school for 2018 is $200.00 per credit. For students receiving reduced lunch the cost is $135.00 per credit, and for those students who receive a free lunch the cost is $90.00 per credit. The cost for out of county residents is $400.00 per credit.  Deadline for registrations and FINAL payments are due no later than June 29th, 2018.  Payment options are check or money order made out to the Queen Anne’s County Board of Education.  Payment can also be made with a credit card at either Kent Island High School, Queen Anne’s County High School, or the Queen Anne’s County Board of Education. The location of the QACPS High School Summer School Program is Anchor Points Academy-202 Chesterfield Ave., Centreville, Md. 21617 (located behind the Queen Anne's County Board of Education).

    Statement of Understanding//Student Conduct

    Summer School courses are offered to students who have not been successful in passing core academic classes.  The courses offered this summer will be based on enrollment, staffing, and scheduling. We cannot guarantee any course offering. Notification of any changes or cancellations will occur before Summer School begins on July 9th, 2018. Courses may only be taken for make-up credit, not original credit.


    Should a course be canceled, your money will be fully refunded.   


    Summer School courses will run for a total of 40 hours (2.75-hour session for 15 days).  

    Summer School hours:       Session One 8:00 – 10:45 AM

                                                Session Two 11:00 – 1:45 PM

     Summer School will be in session on the following days: July 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 30th, 31st and August 1st.


    Student Conduct Policy

    The QACPS Discipline Code is in effect for Summer School. Students are expected to behave in a courteous, respectful manner towards students and staff. Students who violate the QACPS Discipline Code will face consequences and may be removed from the QACPS Summer School program. Students are expected to report on time for their course(s) in order to complete the class in a timely manner.

    If a student is removed from Summer School for disciplinary reasons, there will be no refund.
