Degrees and Certifications:
Meet Mrs. Clark
Hello to all CES families! This is my 7th year of teaching and 5th year teaching here at Centreville Elementary School…. GOOOOOO CUBS !!!
I was born and raised here in Queen Anne’s County and was fortunate enough to be a product of our Queen Anne’s County school system. In 2005 I graduated from Queen Anne’s County High School and attended McDaniel College, from 2005-2009, where I received my undergraduate degree in Studio Art/Art History and minored in Elementary Education. Afterwards, I attended the University of Phoenix for my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with a dual certification in Early Childhood Education.
My husband Josh and I have two beautiful children, Hayleigh and Mason. He and I just got married the summer of 2016, on the beautiful beaches of Playa Conchal, Costa Rica. It was the best time of our lives with our closest friends and family, especially since one of my favorite things is the beach and being outside by the water. We continue to stay very busy with our lives outside of school, with building a new house in Church Hill, gymnastics, soccer, heading to the beach or pool on summer days, and most importantly to us, being with our friends and family.
Centreville is a wonderful community. Helping to guide and prepare our students for the future is a real challenge and one that requires the involvement of us all. See some of the fantastic reading and math websites below, which I have found to be very useful in helping to promote reading and math fluency. I look forward to working with all of my students’ parents this upcoming year. I also look forward to many more years of teaching the brilliant students here at Centreville Elementary and helping them become successful individuals.
