What is Everyday Excellence Teaching and Learning?
Everyday Excellence Teaching and Learning 2020 is an initiative of the Queen Anne County School District located in Centreville, Maryland. It is the next phase in the development of teaching and learning that started in our district in 2014. It builds on our successes at transforming through technology. This website is the primary communication tool for Queen Anne's County teachers, students, parents and the community.
Everyday Excellence Teaching and Learning started in our district during the 2014-2015 school year with providing
Chromebooks for all students (1:1), in Grades 6-8. As the year progressed, we were able to provide Grade 5 students with Chromebooks. Our plan is for high school students to receive laptop devices in the 2015-2016 school year and elementary students in Grades 3-5 in the 2016-2017 school year. This will allow our school system to fully transformed by the end of the 2016-2017 school year.
EE Teaching and Learning Goals:
- Increased opportunities for all students to benefit from online and blended learning opportunities in all content areas.
- Transformed teaching and learning, directed by the SAMR framework, evaluated by classroom walkthroughs and observations.
