Mrs. Erin Holthaus
Hi! My name is Erin Holthaus. I grew up in Exton, Pennsylvania and was the middle child of 5 siblings, 3 brothers and one younger sister. I went to college at Loyola University of Maryland where I played field hockey while getting my bachelor's degree in Psychology and later earned my Master of Education in School Counseling. I have been a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) since 2002. I began my career as a foster care social worker in Philadelphia. I then taught both 2nd and 4th grades in Prince George's County, Anne Arundel County, and Queen Anne's County. I was the school counselor for a large prek-5th grade elementary school in Anne Arundel County and am so very happy to be back to counseling here at Centreville Elementary School.
I currently live in Centreville with my husband, Rhody, and my 4 children, Abby, Molly, Jimmy, and Beatrice. All 4 of my children went to and loved Centreville Elementary School! They keep me very busy with all of their activities. I love watching them play sports, dance, perform in shows, and play their instruments. As a family we enjoy visiting our relatives in Pennsylvania, going to the beach, watching movies, and swimming in our pool. Everyonce in a while when I get time alone I like to read while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea.
My life is very busy and sometimes a bit crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way!
