Before I get into information about myself, I can't even begin to put into words how excited I am to be working at Church Hill Elementary!! I have heard nothing but fantastic things from parents, students, and community members and I can't wait to be a part of such an awesome set of individuals!

So...on to a little about myself. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher. Both of my parents were teachers in Kent County and I wanted nothing more than to follow in their footsteps. I was born and raised in Chestertown, MD. I graduated from Kent County High School in 2002 and completed 4 years of college at West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, WV. After graduating in 2006 I began my teaching career at Rock Hall Middle School where I taught the READ180 and Ramp-up programs to grades 5-8. I spent the last 8 years at Denton Elementary School in Caroline County. There I taught technology for 6 years and then moved on to 3rd and 5th grade Science.

In 2013, I went against the Kent vs. Queen Anne's rivalry and married a Queen Anne's County boy, and former Church Hill Elementary School student. Our son, Bhody, was born on July 26, 2016 and our lives have been filled with nothing but joy and exhaustion ever since.
