Degrees and Certifications:

Kimberly Schultes

Hello! I am the 3 year old Inclusive Preschool teacher at Centreville Elementary School. I have been teaching for 14 years and I absolutely love what I do. I received my undergraduate degree from West Chester University and my Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University. I am certified as a Special Education, Early Childhood, and Elementary Education Teacher. I also have my certification as a Reading Specialist. I consider myself a life-long learner and I love learning something new every day!

Teaching and my three kids keep me busy, but when I have free time, I enjoy reading, taking pictures, traveling, camping, and hiking! Here are a few of my favorites:

Favorite Treat: Take 5 and Fast Break candy bars :) I also love Pumpkin Spice Lattes in the Fall!

Favorite Gift Card Idea: REI and Amazon! I have a classroom wish list on Amazon, as well.

Favorite Season/Scent: Fall

Favorite Color: Cabernet or any earthy tones

Silly Guilty Pleasure: Fuzzy socks and watching sunsets

You Can Find Me: In school, on the soccer or baseball field, in the dance studio, or on a mountain :)

  • Our mission is to make friends, to be kind, to make good choices, learn new things, and to have fun!

  • Early Literacy:

    • Talk to your child! The more you talk to your child and label/describe things in his/her world, the larger the vocabulary your child will develop.
    • Read to your child and have your child "read" to you.

    Early Math:

    • Go on shape/color/number hunts. Look for different shapes and colors in your child's world.
    • Have your child practice using their fingers to point to and count objects. Extend their thinking by asking them to tell you what is one more? What is one less?
