Meet Mrs. Woodfield
Hi, my name is Sherry Woodfield and this will be my thirteenth year at Centreville Elementary School. Previously, I taught 2nd grade for nine years and this will be my fourth year teaching 1st grade. In 2000 I graduated from Washington College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Also I have received my masters in special education and reading from Wilmington University. My first teaching position was at Radcliffe Creek School in Chestertown, Maryland. Fortunately, I am able to use several hands-on reading strategies, I learned while working at Radcliffe, in my classroom at Centreville.
My husband, Chuck and I live in Rock Hall, Maryland with our 2 dogs. Luke is a dachshund and Lilly is a yellow Labrador retriever. We have two daughters Ellie and Abby. Ellie is in fifth grade and Abby is in third grade. In my spare time I enjoy going to the pool/beach, biking, and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to an exciting, creative year!
