Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Jesse Freeman

I am a 3rd grade teacher at CHES.  This will be my 5 year at CHES.  I graduated from Wilmington University in 2009 with my degree in Elementary Education.  I recieved my Masters in S.T.E.M. through UMBC in the summer of 2014.  I have a wife (Amy), and two daughters (Hailey and Taylor), we have two dogs and three cats and  I live in Centreville, MD.  I have spent my whole life on the Eastern Shore growing up in Barclay and attending school in Sudlersville.   I am a die hard Ravens and Orioles fan.  I enjoy exercising, playing any type of sports, building with legos, drawing, and pretty much anything related to Batman, Ninja Turtles or superheroes.
  • Expectations

I expect all students to follow the PBIS goals for CHES (responsible, respectful, safe). I expect students to TRY THEIR BEST when doing their work.  Students will have a fun and exciting year learning how to become good readers and even better writers.  Students will strive to master their facts and explore new opportunities in science and social studies.

Class work is checked and graded daily.  All work will be returned to student in their Monday Take Home Folder.  Grades will consist of A's B's C's and D's.  With the student's writing it will consist of 3's, 2's, 1's and 0's so to remain consistent with PARCC.  Some class work will also be checked or stared for completion and proof of understanding. I always try to include notes of encouragement and positivity.
