I am so excited to join the Kennard Elementary team this year as a Special Education teacher!
While I am new to Kennard, I am not new to teaching. I have previously worked as a Special Education teacher and Orton-Gillingham instructor at a private school, as well as a middle school English Language Arts teacher here in Queen Anne's County. As a graduate of Queen Anne's County Public Schools, it is incredibly meaningful to return and help support the success of students in the same community where I grew up. I am honored to have the opportunity to shape young learners in a county that helped shape who I am today.

Fun fact: My daughter will also be starting at Kennard this year, so we are both beginning an exciting new chapter together! I also have one other daughter who's two, and I am getting married this November! I can't wait to meet my students, their families, and become part of the Kennard community.

Outside of school: I love to read, I love being outdoors, I enjoy spending time with my family, I love to thrift shop, I love museums and art.
