I grew up in Queen Anne’s County and graduated from QACHS in 2006. I was a 2022 finalist for QACPS Teacher of the Year.
I live in Denton with my husband and our Jack Russell Terrier, Minnie. I have 3 horses that I love to ride! I show my horse, Scooter, throughout the year at shows in Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey. My favorite color is burgundy and my favorite foods are sushi and Mexican. My favorite teams are the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Nationals.

I have been a classroom teacher for 16 years, including the past 12 years teaching 5th grade right here at KES. It has been such a privilege to be part of this incredible school community, and I am thrilled to continue supporting our students in a new way. I have always been passionate about helping children grow as readers, and I can't wait to work with students, teachers, and families to build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and foster a lifelong love of reading. I'm looking forward to a wonderful school year and can't wait to see all that our KES Tigers accomplish. Here's to a fantastic year of learning and reading together!
