Bachelor's Degree in Art History and Art Education/Studio Art from Northern Arizona University; Masters of Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University

I am a passionate Early Childhood Educator - I love working with our youngest learners on campus. Before starting at Kent Island Elementary, I taught blended Pre-K classrooms for five years, and before that taught kindergarten for two years.

I am an Arizona native, but have lived in many different places before calling Kent Island my home just this summer. I came to Kent Island following my family who have lived here six years and love it! My second passion is painting - watercolor and acrylic. A fun fact is that I completed a 100-day challenge painting, creating one painting a day for 100 days. In the end, I auctioned all 100!

I love to travel, hike, do yoga, and spend time with my husband and two cats.
