We are excited to welcome everyone back next week and get the 2023-2024 school year underway. Let’s Start Strong Bucs ! Please take a moment to review these expectations and as you will notice, in our effort to show respect, as well as for school safety, no hats or hoods will be allowed to be worn while in the building.
QACPS Safety Announcement– No visitors during class change: No visitor/parent/guardian access to schools during class changes or mass student movement in hallways. We appreciate your patience.
Student Schedules – Your final schedule will be emailed to you on Saturday, August 26. This is the schedule you should follow when you arrive at school. PLEASE LOOK AT ROOM NUMBERS, several of the staff have changed location this year. If you would like a printed version of your schedule instead of using your phone, they will be available in the cafeteria when you arrive. In the event your schedule needs to be changed you can obtain a purple course change form from your first period teacher, take it home the first day, have a parent sign off and return it to the counseling office. The last day to change a course for Semester 1 is September 6.
Freshman – We will see you on Monday, August 28! Please review the Freshman First Day Schedule to get a feel for what your day will look like.
Smile Bucs! – Picture day is Thursday, August 31. Ordering information is included in the folders you will receive in class. This is the photo that will appear in the yearbook and on your student ID.
Student Parking – Students who will be parking on campus must have a parking permit displayed and park in their assigned parking spot. This begins on the first day of school.
Bus Routes – have been published on the QACPS website. Please go to the Transportation page to get your bus driver and bus stop information. Bus drivers will be contacting students to let them know what time they should be expected at their stop.
