Semester 1 Testing Update:
Students currently enrolled in Comprehensive Health will be taking the ASVAB Career Exploration Program Assessment on December 19th. This assessment will help students identify postsecondary career options.
Students enrolled in Government this semester will be taking the MCAP Government during their Government classes when we return from winter break, January 3rd-5th. This assessment is a state graduation assessment. It is important that students are in school during these dates and have a fully charged laptop for testing.
The semester 1 testing calendar, which includes the purpose of each assessment and who is scheduled to participate in each assessment, can be found here. Final exams are scheduled for January 17th and 18th. The final exam schedule is linked here. Remember, this exam counts for 15% of a student’s final course grade!
Important Note: Students may not have access to unapproved cell phones or electronic devices during state assessments or final exams. Students who are found to have electronic devices during these assessments will face disciplinary action.
“SPEAKING UP ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH” ESSAY CONTEST – The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), and Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) are co-sponsoring the national essay challenge.
