KI Update 3/28/24

HAPPY SPRING BREAK! –  Please take this time off to enjoy being with family and friends, recharge, and get ready to hit the ground running when we return on April 8th.

Important Updates for This Week:

  • Q3 Progress Reports Home – Finish Strong!
  • Maryland Youth Advisory Council Application

Progress Reports for Q3 – Progress Reports have been emailed home earlier today. Athletic eligibility will be determined by this report. Please take a moment to review this report with your child. It is not too late for students to improve their overall performance in classes and finish the school year strong. On Tuesday, students reviewed their current grades and developed a plan to end the year successfully. Talk to your child about what actions they plan to take to maintain or improve their academic standing during the 4th quarter of the school year.

Maryland Youth Advisory Council – MYAC

The Maryland Youth Advisory Council applications are open for the 2024-2025 school year. The MYAC is a great opportunity to serve as a liaison between Queen Anne’s County youth and policymakers. For more information about the MYAC and links to the application, check out the flyers below.

Please mark your calendars for upcoming semester 2 assessments including state graduation assessments and final exams. It is important that students are in school during these dates. The testing calendar, purpose of each assessment, and who is scheduled to participate in each assessment can be found below.
