B.A in Spanish Linguistics and Literature

My full name is Maria Barbudo Delgado but I like to go by Ms. Delgado. I am from Madrid, Spain. I have lived in Maryland for almost 10 years now and I have been teaching at Kent Island High School for the past seven years.
In 2008 I pursued my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish linguistics and literature specializing in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language, while in 2009 I obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and I completed theory and practical hours at the Magister of Teaching Spanish as a Second language at the Complutense University of Madrid. While I was obtaining my Bachelors I also taught Spanish to American students who were studying abroad. After I graduated I taught Spanish at Alfonso X El Sabio University and Complutense Centre for the Spanish learning at Complutense University of Madrid for a year before I came to the United States for the first time. I lived in Minnesota and worked at Spanish Immersion Schools for the next two years.
While in Maryland, I have taught some noncredit Spanish courses at Anne Arundel Community College during the evening for many years. I have also taught Spanish at elementary and middle school level at Midtown Academy in Baltimore.
