I have been teaching at Kent Island High School since the fall of 1998, when we first opened our doors at the main campus. I am one of the teachers for the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences Pathway at KIHS. I love what I do and work hard to instill a love for the biomedical sciences and learning in all of my students. It is my hope that all of my students leave our class with new transportable skills that enable them to be successful at higher levels of the various fields in the biomedical sciences both here at KIHS and in any future endeavors beyond KIHS.

When I am not at school, I am busy with my family. I have 4 kids (2 sons who graduated from KIHS and 2 daughters - 1 who is currently and 1 who will be at KI) who are all involved in many school and community activities. My husband and I are also very involved with many of the local sports programs and activities in the Kent Island community with our children. In addition to our children, we also have our fur baby, a chocolate lab named Puddy, who is often with us... She is very friendly but be warned, she doesn't realize how large she is and she may greet you with enthusiasm.
Fun fact: I love the mountains and the fresh water lakes of the Adirondacks (Northern NY).
