Matapeake Elementary School, home of the Mariners, is home to approximately 472 students and 60 staff members. Our school serves students from Pre-K through fifth grade. Our Office hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday.

Matapeake Elementary School students will graduate with the skills necessary to pursue their professional pathway and be empathetic contributors to society.

The mission of Matapeake Elementary School, in partnership with families and community members, fosters a learning environment to educate and empower students academically, socially, and emotionally to prepare them for career, college and life success.
