Our cafeteria is excited to report that Sodexo’s annual Future Chef competition is back! For those of you unfamiliar with this event, it is an opportunity for any aspiring 1st- 5th grade chefs to showcase their culinary skills in a county wide competition. This year’s event will be structured slightly differently than in years past. Similar to last year, rather than having mini qualifying rounds throughout the county, there will only be one event held on Tuesday, March 28th at Queen Anne’s County High School.
Any interested student in grades 1-5 can submit a recipe and 6 lucky contestants will be chosen to compete on March 28th. Recipes MUST be submitted by March 17th to Ms. Ulinda, our cafeteria manager.
Here is a link for the Future Chefs Recipe Card / Entry Form and Ms. Ulinda will also have blank recipe cards for any students in the lunch room for any who are interested. Here are some tips on how to be a finalist! Good luck!
