Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from University of Maryland; Master’s Equivalence

I have been teaching for over 17 years, with most of those spent right here teaching fifth grade at MES. I grew up on Kent Island and frequently enjoy soaking up our beaches and trails with my family and friends. I love to travel, boat, kayak, swim, and explore. One of my favorite things to do is take my class outside to learn in nature. I come from a family of watermen and the Bay is a part of who I am. I love seafood, including sushi and my favorite colors are those found in nature.
