Dual degrees in Elementary and Special Education from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania; Master’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood from the University at Buffalo in New York
I started teaching first grade at Matapeake Elementary in 2020 and have loved every minute of it. I have taught kindergarten and second grade and was a special education inclusion teacher over my 18 years. I have taught in various states along the east coast.
I live in the community with my husband Chris, our two girls Maddie and Emma, and a sweet mini goldendoodle named Ellie. When I am not at MES, you will find me at the volleyball courts, soccer fields, or at the pool cheering on the girls; outside with Ellie; serving on the MES PTA board; playing on my Cricut; or cheering on the Buffalo Bills!
I love PEEPS, polka dots, the color turquoise, peanut butter cups, and potato chips, but most of all I LOVE watching your child grow and succeed!
