My husband Al, son Alex and I moved from Iowa to Maryland in 2007 to live and work in Queen Anne’s County near our adult daughters, Jennifer and Alicia, as they were just starting their careers and families. We now have three incredible grandchildren, two of which attend KIHS. At the time of our move, I had been an educator for sixteen years serving as an elementary teacher, middle school teacher, and middle school principal. I have since served in QACPS as an assistant principal, academic dean, acting principal and now principal.

I am truly blessed with the opportunity to do what I love while living and working in Queen Anne’s County near my family, enjoying all that Kent Island has to offer. You may see us out biking the Cross-Island Trail or attending our grandkids' sporting events. My favorite colors are coral and seafoam green.
