I started working with groups of children in 1973 when one of the Sisters at St. Mary's in Annapolis asked me to work with disadvantaged children from Baltimore City. I was a camp counselor back then and have worked with groups of children in some capacity ever since. I met my beautiful wife in 1983. She shares my interest in and love of working with children. She has her Master's in Early Childhood Education and works at an elementary school in Annapolis. We have one daughter and two grandchildren that we love spending time with. When I was much younger I learned to play the organ at the Naval Academy and then was paid a salary to play the organ at St. Mary's Church in Annapolis. I'm a swimmer and have taught all levels of swimming to preschool and school-aged children. Additionally, I've lifeguarded and acted as a pool operator at a fitness club in Arnold. I love going to the beach and cooking is one of my favorite pastimes.
