Dual degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania; Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from at McDaniel College
I began my teaching career in 1995 as a Pre-K teacher in my hometown of Franklin, PA. I taught third grade for seven years at both Bayside and Matapeake, and the rest of my time has been spent in my favorite place...first grade! I was honored to represent Queen Anne County as the 2018 Teacher of the Year, and currently serve as the first grade team leader and as a member of the School Improvement Team.
I live in Pasadena with my husband Bill and our adorable and very spoiled cockapoo, Lily. We have three sons who have blessed us with eight grandchildren! When I am not in the classroom, you will find me playing with my grandbabies or my puppy, camping, reading, scrapbooking, or cheering on the Ravens!
