I have been teaching for eight years. I was born in Western Pennsylvania and am the youngest of seven siblings. I enjoy writing poetry/short stories (in both English and Spanish), hiking, and photography. I also enjoy playing piano, gardening, and teaching model rocketry. My favorite novel is King Author and the Knights of the Roundtable. My favorite poet is Robert Frost. I lean heavily toward educational documentaries and watch very few movies. My favorite quote is from Jesus: “I go to prepare a place for you that where I am there you may also be.”

By the end of this year I want each of my students to have a measurable sense of accomplishment in the Spanish language and an affirmative desire to continue towards mastery.
