B.S. in Education from California University of Pennsylvania; M.A. in History from Washington College and Guidance and Counseling from Loyola College

I have been teaching for 31 years. My hobbies and interests include blues music, history, Pittsburgh Penguins hockey, Pittsburgh Steelers football, and spending time with my family. My favorite novel is The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien and my favorite poet is Homer. My favorite movies include Dead Poets Society and The Lord of the Rings. My favorite quote is, “Hindsight is like foresight without history."

My goal for this school year is for students to have a better appreciation on how ancient history affects the lives of people today.
