I have been teaching for 15 years. My husband and I have a daughter and a son. I enjoy reading, gardening, practicing yoga, traveling, cooking, and eating. My favorite novel is To Kill a Mockingbird and my favorite poet is Maya Angelou. My favorite movie is Tommy Boy. My favorite quote comes from my 10th grade English teacher, Mrs. Campbell: “Do what you have to do so you can do what you want to do."
My goal for this year is to instill an appreciation of reading in all of my students.
