Queen Anne’s County Public Schools would like to announce that they are a recipient of the Opioid Operational Command Center Grant for the 2023 – 2024 school year. This grant will be utilized to hire (1) Opioid Education & Prevention Coordinator (OEPC). The OEPC will share QAC Goes Purple messages and data surrounding the opioid crisis with the community and public/private schools. Funding will also be utilized for ongoing education/prevention, advertisements, BOTVIN classes, Living NATURALLY High clubs and the QAC Drug Free Student Ambassador Program. The OEPC will collaborate with the QAC Drug Free Coalition, QACPS, QAC Private schools and the QAC Community to share QAC Goes Purple messages through various events and activities.
