    Course Reimbursement

    Queen Anne's County Public Schools offers employees reimbursement for course work that is relative to their position and supports the goals of our professional development program.
     
    NewThe current negotiated agreement for Certificated Unit I staff allows for a higher course reimbursement rate for those enrolled in an approved Masters Degree program.  In order to receive the higher rate you must have an approved Masters Degree Program Approval Form on file with Human Resources. 
     
    Procedures for Requesting Course Reimbursement

    STEP 1:  Read the Course Reimbursement Procedures.

    STEP 2:  Complete the online Course Reimbursement Request Form* at least two weeks prior to the course start date.

    STEP 3:  Submit proof of payment to the Certification Specialist in Human Resources (ex. an itemized bill or receipt from the college/university) prior to the course start date.

    STEP 4:  Complete the course and submit an official transcript to the Certification Specialist in Human Resources within 30 days of course completion.

    STEP 5:  A reimbursement check will be mailed within two to four weeks after the transcript is received.

     

    *Advance reimbursements are available for employees experiencing a financial hardship. To make a request please submit the Advance Course Reimbursement Form to Human Resources.
