SUPERINTENDENT'S ADVISORY COUNCILS
We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Superintendent's Advisory Councils. Three councils are currently being established: (1) Student Advisory (2) Staff Advisory and (3) Parent Advisory. The selection for the Staff and Student Advisory Councils will be overseen by school personnel. The Parent Advisory Council will be coordinated by central office personnel with the support of school staff. All Advisory Council Members will have an opportunity to provide input on decision-making regarding QACPS' district priorities. A Superintendent's Business Advisory is planned to begin later during Spring 2018.
Any parent or caregiver for students in QACPS who has interest in serving on the Superintendent's Parent Advisory Council should email their name, email address, and phone number to Dr. Akeda Pearson-Stenbar at email@example.com before December 15, 2017. Your participation is highly valued and greatly appreciated! We look forward to working with you.

No Pre-K on Half Days
Just a reminder, per the 2017-2018 QACPS School Calendar there will be no Pre-K sessions (AM or PM) on half days, with the exception of Sudersville Elementary School who operates a full day Pre-K.
