QACPS Meal Service Programs: Update

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended the Summer Food Service Program until December 31, 2020, provided funding remains available. Queen Anne’s County Public Schools (QACPS) is providing free breakfast, lunch, supper, and snack to children ages 2-18 for curbside meal pickups on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12:00PM-2:00PM at the following sites:
Meal Sites Tuesdays/Thursdays
Bayside Elementary School 12:00PM-2:00PM
Church Hill Elementary School 12:00PM-2:00PM
Grasonville Elementary School 12:00PM-2:00PM
Queen Anne’s County High School 12:00PM-2:00PM
Sudlersville Middle School 12:00PM-2:00PM
Students do not need to be present to receive the bagged meals as only the name of the student and the school they attend need to be provided by the parent/guardian.
Bundled meals containing breakfast, lunch, supper and snack will be provided on Tuesdays to last until Thursday of each week. Bundled meals containing breakfast, lunch, supper and snack will be provided on Thursdays to last until Tuesday of each week.
If a student will be attending one of the small group instructional programs at their school, a free grab and go service will be provided to those students for breakfast and lunch. Students who receive meals from the free grab and go service at their school are not eligible to receive meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays from the curbside meal service program.
QACPS will be providing additional information as we receive it from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
