This section provides recommendations on the essential actions necessary to ensure effective teaching and learning when students and teachers return. Key focus areas include (a) recovery education and summer transition, (b) schedules and learning time for the 20-21 school year, (c) distance learning, (d) curricula, (e) academic interventions, (f) learning packets, (g) parent and teacher survey to collect feedback on the current model (h) services and supports for students with special needs, English learners, economically disadvantaged, etc.
