January 3rd- Return from Winter Break

Message from Superintendent as we return:

Tomorrow our schools will reopen, pending weather, to staff and students. While we are excited to have everyone back we want to remind both staff and students to remain at home if you are sick and experiencing any symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, fever, sore throat, coughing or loss of taste and smell.

We are aware that the number of positive COVID cases has increased during the winter break and are in constant contact with our local health department for guidance.

On December 27th the CDC released new quarantine guidance for positive individuals and those identified as close contacts. QACPS will follow the new guidance. Quarantine will now be five days with day one as either the day of symptom onset or the day of testing for those without symptoms. Return to school will be on day six as long as symptoms have improved and there has been no fever for 24 hours without medication. Please continue to report positive results to your school nurse or to covidalert@qacps.org after school hours

    WELCOME BACK, VOLUNTEERS!

We are now able to welcome volunteers into our school again. If you plan to chaperone a field trip, help with the Book Fair, assist with band or choral performances, or give your time to support our school in any way, please review the Volunteer Handbook and submit this Volunteer Application and Certification of Training. We look forward to seeing you here soon!
