I love to entertain! Singing and announcing sporting events are a favorite. I help coach the track and field and youth baseball teams. I am married to LuCinda and we have two sons, Devone II and Dominic.

I was born and raised in Michigan. I began my cosmetology career in 1992. I worked as a licensed cosmetologist for 18 years in a salon before starting my career as a cosmetology instructor at QACHS in 2010. I am passionate about the beauty & wellness industry and enjoy sharing my professional knowledge and experiences with my students. I LOVE going to the beach, boating, golfing, Orioles games, and spending time with my family and Golden Retriever, Teague.

I have been teaching carpentry since 2008 and previously owned and operated R Frederick & Son Contracting. I was a percussion instructor at Broadneck HS for 20 years. I was a professional musician in Nashville, TN.

I have taught at QACHS since 2006. I was a genetic engineer before I began teaching. I have also taught AP Biology, Chemistry, and Genetics; as well as Biology 101 at AACC. I enjoy indie and classic rock music, exploring nature, drinking coffee, exercising, and watching "The Bachelor" on TV. My favorite sports team is the Baltimore Ravens. I love spending time with my husband and two young sons; they keep me laughing and running around.

I have coached JV Boys Soccer and Lacrosse at QACHS and had two undefeated seasons in Lacrosse! I was a state runner-up as a player and coach in Boys Lacrosse.

My teaching career began in 2001, and I have been here at QACHS since 2004. I have grown up on the Eastern Shore, graduating from St. Michaels High School in 1997. In my spare time, I love traveling and spending time outdoors with my husband and three children.

I earned my bachelor degrees in English and Comparative Literature from Penn State. Then I went to Arcadia University for an MFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis on fiction. Finally, I returned to Penn State to earn my master's degree in education and teaching certificate.
I have been teaching English at QACHS since 2016. In addition to teaching English, I am a co-advisor for the QACHS Chapter of the National Honor Society. My hobbies include reading, writing, and spending time with my two rescue pups: Harper Lee and Gertie!

My wife and I are both teachers in QACPS and I have been at QACHS since 2012. We have a daughter, one son, and a goofy dog named Bella. I like to run and work in my garden in my free time. I love cars and everything automotive, enjoy nature and am a big nerd.

I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park where I received a B.A. and M.A. in Art History with an emphasis in Fine Art, and an Art Education Certification. I have taken art classes at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore (MICA), Los Angeles Pierce College in California, and studied with an artist in Villeneuve, France.
I have also worked at The Baltimore Museum of Art, The Phillips Collection, and The National Museum of Women in the Arts. I started teaching at QACHS in 2020. Before this, I taught for seven years at Centreville Middle School.

I have been teaching in QACPS since 2002 and taught for three years prior in the Lake Forest School District in Delaware. I have a wife, one daughter and one son, along with two cats (Tuxie and McGee).

I graduated from Kutztown University with a B.S. in Art Education where I was a captain and thrower on the track and field team, with discus being my main event.
I moved to MD to start my teaching career at QACHS and am entering my 26th year teaching. I served as a coach for 20 years for six different teams, spending the most time with volleyball and lacrosse. I founded the National Art Honor Society at QACHS and serve as the Co-Advisor. I have a passion for using art to help better the community and am a mental health advocate. I love to cook and recently discovered gardening. Music moves my soul!

I have been teaching at QACHS since 2019 and previously taught for 19 years in DE. I coached high school golf for six years and have taught Algebra I, Geometry, Probability & Statistics, and AP Statistics. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and young son.

I have been teaching since 1994 with the last 17 years at QACPS. I am fascinated by the natural world and hope to share that with my students. I love to run, garden, raise bees, and cook! I have been teaching in QAC since 2007. I previously taught 7th grade Life Science and MMS, CMS, and SMS.


I am a QACHS Graduate, former football and lacrosse coach, and an AP US History teacher for the past 12 years. I am a history nerd and love traveling, hiking, and outdoors in general. I love anything with a motor: motorboats, motorcycles, and cars.

I began teaching at QACHS in 2008. I teach US History, Government, and AP Psychology. I love crafting and creating as well as spending time with my husband and two kids. I live in Dover, DE.

Graduate of Salisbury University
I began teaching at Arise in 2016 and quickly moved over to QACHS in the social studies department. I am working towards my masters degree currently. I was the coach for the JV football team here for three years. I have an interest in both indoor and outdoor activities. Outdoor activities include fishing, crabbing, being a first mate, landscaping, playing pick up sports, working on my boat, fixing two strokes, and boat detailing. Indoor activities that interest me are home improvements, playing musical instruments, and video games when time allows it.

I have taught at QACHS for 11 years, teaching a variety of courses including US History, Government, World History, AP World History and AP Psychology. I have also coached the JV Cheerleading squad at QA. My husband and I have been married for seven years, and I am about to have our 3rd daughter. As a family, we enjoy gardening and enjoying our time outside.

I have spent over 20 years in the classroom including Crofton Middle School, Sudlersville Middle, and now QACHS. I love to spend free time on the golf course or on the water. My wife is a wonderful elementary teacher at CHES and we have two children. We have more pets than you can shake a stick at!

I have been teaching Social Studies since 2012. Classes I have taught include, American Government, US History, Global Studies and AP Human Geography. I love to learn about different cultures and travel around the world. I have even lived in South Africa for a while.

I have been teaching since 1993; teaching US History, World History, Government, AP Courses, SAT prep as well as Driver's Ed. I have an awesome husband and an amazing 10 year old. For several years, I was a school based administrator but missed the students and teaching!

I have two sons, two dogs, and one cat. In my free time I love to create things with yarn (knit, crochet, dye and I’m learning to spin it). I began as a school psychologist in 2014.

I have been the nurse at QACHS since 2007 and have three grown children who have grown up through QACPS. My husband and I are bee keepers and I am a lifelong resident of QAC. Charlie Brown is my favorite cartoon and my dogs are named after the characters (Lucy, Linus, ReRun and Charlie).

I joined QACPS in 2002 after teaching two years in Virginia. This is my 13th year as the Media Specialist at QACHS. I spend a lot of time on the softball field and volleyball court watching my daughters. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and boating.
